Okay so I called Sakura today. The customer service lady was very nice, and she went to verify the information for me. The Souffle’ Pens are NOT archival quality and are not recommended for heritage scrapbooking. They are great for altered art, and card making – and any journal type doodling that isn’t intended to last 100 years. They’re fun, dimensional, and I love the ability to use them in resist-ink technique stamping!!!
Thank you for all of your questions – I hope this answered it for you. The informational page from Sakura is here: Gelly Roll Souffle’ by Sakura

I’d like to wish my friend a very happy birthday!
For those of you waiting for the answers from Sakura – I’ll be calling them today when they open their phone lines – 9am West Coast time. The information will get published in Sakura Pens.
I’m also conducting tests on white journaling pens. Please list your favorite, and get me pointed in the "write" direction!!

There aren’t too many affordable wide-format scanners on the market. I only found one. I’ve seen it on sale (NexTag) for as low as $132. It’s the Mustek A3. It does what I needed it to do. But here’s the information article we just published Wide Format Scanning.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or comments about Wide Format Scanning. Or you could leave a comment here – and I’ll get right back to you.

We’re just about to write a new article – hopefully a compendium – of where to start – a guide for beginners to scrapbooking. I’m taking requests from people new to the art on what they’d like to see in such a guide, and information from people who know what should be in there! – Those who have been there!
There’s so much out there – the tools, the papers, the embellishments……. Feel free to post your lists and remarks in the comments section!
Thank you!

The kids wanted to hit Best Buy – so off we went to the big city. Of course, while I’m there, I hit Michaels, JoAnns, ACMoore, and Recollections! There were some really good sales going on, and of course – I had all my coupons with me!
I have an assignment due for a class I’m taking – so I’m off to get that written!
The new articles are getting lots of wonderful comments! I’m so pleased.

I love our sponsors list. I do weed out the ones that don’t belong (not selling our relevent products) – and am constantly trying to make sure we have the best in biz – offering you safe gateways. If you see one that doesn’t sell our kind of products – let me know, it’s easy enough to take care of!
